nccPA HEALTH FOUNDATION

EMPOWER GRANT

The nccPA Health Foundation equips and empowers Board Certified PAs and PA students to improve health for all.  We advance this mission through an annual competitive grant that equips PAs with up to $5,000 for projects that are aligned with our strategic programming areas, including:

  • Equitable care
  • Health disparities
  • Mental and behavioral health
  • Oral health
  • Professional practice
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion
    in the PA workforce

Further, grantees will display a commitment to reaching underserved and underrepresented populations with their efforts.

Applicants are encouraged to share their passion and ingenuity in creatively seeking and developing resources that will make a difference in the lives of patients, providers, and communities.  Proposals should demonstrate PA leadership and innovation that can transform grassroots interventions into sustainable initiatives.

Cycle Guidelines

Board Certified PAs, PA students, and PA organizations (accredited educational programs or constituent organizations) may apply.  Funds are disbursed to the organization supporting the program, and projects must be completed within 18 months of funding.  Grant recipients are selected after a competitive evaluation.

The 2025 application cycle is open.  Completed applications should be electronically submitted by Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Completed applications will be reviewed this fall, and a funding decision will be announced in January 2026.
