Be the Change Grant

What are you passionate about?

This seed grant is for PAs and PA students who design and execute activities that expand access to health promotion, education, and treatment as strategies for fostering more equitable care. Equity should be a top focus for grant recipients, all of whom should prioritize responding to inequalities in their community through innovative projects that reduce health disparities or increase care access. Applicants may apply for up to $2,500 to Create Health Access Now for Greater Equity. Certified PAs, PA students, and PA organizations (accredited educational programs and constituent organizations) working with a PA faculty member at an accredited PA program may apply. Applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed as received.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

PAs STEP Up
GRANT

This seed grant challenges PAs and PA students to design and execute activities that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the PA profession. Projects should support diversity, the benefits of inclusivity, and the critical role that PAs have in creating awareness of the PA profession among underrepresented populations. The ultimate goal of this grant is to foster greater equity and reduce health disparities by expanding PA education and practice pipelines.

Join us in Standing Together for Equity in the Profession by applying for up to $2,500 for the PAs STEP Up Grant. Certified PAs, PA students, and PA organizations (accredited educational programs or constituent organizations) working with PA faculty may apply. Mental Health

Community Outreach Grant

With millions of lives affected by mental health challenges and substance use disorders, PAs have a bigger role than ever before in designing and executing outreach activities to address these needs. This seed grant supports community-based approaches to mental health and encourages applicants to work towards greater systemic change by leveraging their skills and support in service of the community.

Applicants may apply for up to $2,500 for a PA-led project that reduces stigma or raises awareness of mental health needs, promotes prevention, or fosters education and treatment. Applicants are encouraged to consider the needs of all populations, especially vulnerable and underserved populations. Certified PAs, PA students, and PA organizations (accredited educational programs or constituent organizations) may apply. Applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed as received.

Oral Health

Community Outreach
Grant

PAs in all disciplines can bridge health care gaps by acting as an early line of defense for their patients’ oral health needs. This seed grant is one of two nccPA Health Foundation grants intended to help PAs gain the knowledge and skills necessary to expand the capacity of the oral health workforce.

Applicants may apply for up to $2,500 to design and implement a PA-led project that advances oral health awareness, prevention, and treatment. Certified PAs, PA students, and PA organizations (accredited educational programs or constituent organizations), may apply. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed as received.

Research INtegration
Grant

An ongoing goal in achieving truly equitable, accessible care is to foster recognition of oral health as an essential part of overall health. This is the only way to increase access and reduce disparities. This seed grant is one of two nccPA Health Foundation grants intended to help PAs gain the knowledge and skills necessary to expand the capacity of oral health workforces. This grant prioritizes research efforts to integrate oral health.

Applicants may apply for up to $3,000 to integrate oral health into your PA program curriculum or clinical practice and evaluate your strategies. PA faculty at accredited PA programs and clinically-practicing PAs may apply. Applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed as received.
