As part of its commitment to inclusion, the nccPA Health Foundation announced plans to select five early career PAs to receive travel funding to participate in the REPRESENT! NCCPA Summit.

This biennial gathering of clinically practicing PAs, PA educators, leaders of PA organizations, physicians, and employers welcomes participants who are interested in advancing the objectives of building a more inclusive workforce and strengthening representation within the PA profession.

This year’s event takes place September 18-19, 2026, in Atlanta, GA.

“The Health Foundation is committed to ensuring a PA workforce that is equipped to provide care for all,” said Board Chair Rick Rohrs, PA-C Emeritus, DFAAPA, SFHM.  “As a funder, we are delighted to support early career PAs in lending their voices to this impactful event.”

For this activity, the Health Foundation defined early career PAs as individuals who received their initial NCCPA board certification on or after June 1, 2023.

Interested PAs should complete the short application, including a not-to-exceed 250 word response sharing why they are seeking to attend the REPRESENT! NCCPA Summit and how they believe it will impact their professional development, future practice, and mission as a PA.

Travel funding will include up to three hotel nights at the Emory Conference Center and economy class airfare booked through the travel platform of record. (Applicants who live within drivable distance to Atlanta may be eligible for mileage support in lieu of an airline ticket.)

Rohrs added, “More than 30,000 PAs have entered the workforce in the last three years. Ensuring that these new members of the profession actively participate in this event will equip future PA leaders to expand opportunities and access, foster collaboration, and increase visibility within the PA profession.”

Applications must be submitted by Monday, June 1st at 11:59 p.m. ET.  Recipients will be notified in late July.
